System Requirements
  • Windows 2008 server with Hyper-V to install 5nine v-Firewall Service and driver;
  • XP Pro SP3, Vista SP1 (Business, Enterprise or Ultimate editions), Win 2003 R2 SP2, Win 2008 or later virtual machine for Virtual Machine Web console; at least 500 MBs of memory recommended; v- Firewall Web Console Virtual machine needs to be on the same Hyper-V host where the service and the driver get installed;
  • .NET 3.5 or higher;
  • SQL 2005 Express edition (or higher), or MS SQL 2005 or 2008 standard or Enterprise on Web Console Virtual machine.
  • IIS with ASP.NET configured on Web Console Virtual Machine.

5nine Virtual Firewall Web Console setup will check for presence of .NET framework (3.5 or higher), and SQL/SQL Desktop Engine installations, and prompt the user in case those are not present.
